About us

Our agency was founded in 2016 by award-winning designer Allison Cassels. She designs and develop websites for small businesses as well as a myriad of other design tasks from animation to stationary. White Zebra Design Co. is proudly based in Richmond, VA. 

Meet the founder

Allison Cassels

Creative Director

Allison is an accomplished Creative Director with a passion for crafting compelling online experiences. Navigating the digital design landscape since age 13, Allison began freelancing at 16, contributing to local businesses. Serving as The Roanoke Times' Online Ad Designer, she honed her skills before joining Capital One's global team as an email designer at 19.

After contributing to two startups, Allison joined ProSites in California, eventually becoming a Design Director. Notable achievements include managing a team, expanding the department, and creating innovative platforms that significantly contributed to the company's success.

Post-ProSites, Allison opened White Zebra and worked from the road as a digital nomad. Following this, she accepted a new opportunity at Chewy as an email designer, where her work led to a swift promotion to Art Director.

In 2022, she resumed White Zebra in Richmond, VA. Throughout her career, Allison has received accolades, gifts, and awards for her outstanding work. Her commitment extends beyond aesthetics; she strives to deliver comprehensive solutions that resonate with clients and their customers.
